Reviews for Drugging Kids
Have you or someone you know been forced to put a child on drugs such as Ritalin or Adderall due to a diagnosis of so-called ADHD? Or do you know a teen who takes them voluntarily without really being aware of their devastating side effects? I finally found a book that we can use to fight back. There are a lot of places where you can find the truth if you dig hard enough and are prepared to wade through tons of articles full of medical terms that no one understands, but Drugging Kids lays out the bottom-line facts in plain English and backs them up with science that even I was able to understand.
I’m betting that if we take this book to our doctors, schools, or judges and give these people the opportunity to support the truth, parents and children will win out every time. I’d like to thank the author for taking on this responsibility. It’s clear that his purpose is to stop the needless drugging of our children, and expose the destruction which is potentially permanent to both their bodies and their irreplaceable young minds. —S.F.
This is an eye-opener! Garrison explains, in very simple language, the current epidemic of ADHD diagnoses, how it started, how psychiatrists label children with disorders, and how drug manufacturing companies play an insidious role in a child’s education. It really makes you question the motives of the multi-billion dollar mental health industry, and as this book illustrates, the motives are far from pure “health”. The author has done over a decade of research on the subject, and you can tell from the articles, medical research papers, and lab testing results that are cited and referenced in the book and which span from the 70’s to today. It’s all very straightforward, and every article documented, so you are free to do your own research as well. If knowledge is power, this book is vital in understanding what is actually going on in America’s school systems, and what is being done to our children in the name of health. I’d say it’s a must-read! —JG
This could easily be one of the most important books in America today, and any politician with the slightest interest in serving the people ought to read it asap.
“Drugging Kids” by C.L. Garrison should in addition be part of the curriculum in the education of all health personnel and teachers nationwide.
The way in which certain parts of the medical industry is pushing mind -altering drugs with the most horrendous side-effects on our children is nothing short of a crime against humanity. —Kim Valdez
Everyone, especially parents, should read this book. It’s well written and a very easy read. These drugs affect the heart, growth and the brain….silently causing a lot of bodily harm. —LC
